There is a difference between the popular POLYWOOD & our Poly Lumber. Polywood furniture is made entirely from HDPE plastic, while poly lumber furniture is made from recycled plastic and wood fibers.
Our eco-friendly poly lumber is a robust and sustainable material recognized for its exceptional strength. It is made from a recyclable plastic derived from post-consumer waste such as milk and detergent bottles.
This material is cleaned in a decontamination process to a purity level of over 99% HDPE, then compounded into solid board stock material. We mill it into furniture using many of the same techniques as traditional woodworkers.
